Children's Mental Health Week February 2026
At St Margaret’s, we are incredibly proud to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week. This week truly encapsulates what lies at the heart of our school: the children. To mark this important occasion, our pupils took part in a variety of engaging activities to promote well-being.
Whole-School Assembly: We began the week with a dedicated assembly exploring the importance of mental health and looking after one another.
Emotional Well-being Sessions: During extended PSHE lessons, classes focused on exploring emotions, discussing feelings, and identifying where to seek support.
Creative Collaboration: We took part in the Place2Be art activity, where every class created a ‘Safe Island’—a visual representation of a happy place where everyone feels they belong.
Express Yourself Day: We rounded off the week with a fantastic non-uniform day, encouraging everyone to celebrate their individuality and truly ‘Express Yourself!’
