Acorns Nursery provides a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to be independent and successful. The Nursery staff recognise the importance of play for children’s learning and plan experiences and activities accordingly to suit the children’s needs and interests.

 

The Nursery is run by a qualified, highly experienced teacher and experienced staff. Funded provision is available from the term after your child's 3rd birthday.

 

We are fortunate enough to have a weekly Forest Schools session where the children can have fun exploring nature led by our Forest Schools Lead Mr Heffernan.

 

Our termly themes are broad to allow us to respond to the current cohort's needs and interests. Books are always a central part of this planning and we believe reading stories is an essential tool to support our children's development.
